Does the Marshmallow Frame take long to assemble?

Our unique design arrives fully assembled and literally installs in minutes - We promise! No tools required. Just remove the Marshmallow components from the box and watch it expand. However if you do not have an existing Mattress Base, assembly time will take roughly 15-30 minutes.

Is the Marshmallow Frame free from chemicals and toxins?

We work closely with our suppliers to ensure our beds are safe for all humans by only selecting premium materials. Our bed frames are made from high density CertiPUR-US foams which means they are made without mercury, lead, heavy metals, formaldehyde and free from nasty chemicals. All our fabrics that we use are OEKO-TEX® certified as well.

Do you offer fabric swatches?

Yes, we do! Select up to 3 fabric swatches and we'll deliver it to you for free – all within the comfort of your own home. Swatches can be ordered here or via our fabric selector above.

Can I use a fabric protectant like Scotchgard to protect it?

Certainly, applying a fabric protectant like Scotchgard can serve as a preventative measure against stains. However, it's not essential since minor stains can be spot cleaned, and our covers are removable and machine washable for a thorough cleaning and refresh.

Do you guys have a showroom I can visit?

For spills, gently blot immediately with a clean absorbent cloth, warm water, and mild detergent. Covers can be machine washed inside-out on a cold, gentle cycle when needed. Line dry only. Steam or cool iron with a protective pressing cloth. Do not bleach, tumble dry, or dry clean.

Does the Marshmallow Bed have to be against a wall?

The Marshmallow Headboard is designed to rest against a wall and cannot be freestanding.

How long does it take for the bed to fully expand?

The time taken for our Marshmallow beds to expand will vary from bed to bed. It will ultimately depend on how long that particular bed has been compressed.

We find that 7 days is enough for the foam to expand to it's general shape. Corners and edges usually require extra time. However with a bit of patience and love, all it's edges and plush corners will expand into it's sumptuous shape.

Are the covers removable and washable?

Yes, our Marshmallow covers can be removed and washed on a cold delicate cycle and air-dried. However, we don't recommend doing it frequently to avoid stretching/shrinking the covers. For smaller stains, we recommend spot cleaning instead.

When removing and putting the covers back on, please be gentle to avoid damaging the zips.

We are not responsible for any damages or issues that arise when washing covers.

What mattress sizes work with the Marshmallow Bed?

The Marshmallow Bed has been designed to work with Australian standard mattress sizes, and is currently available in:

Double (138 x 190cm)
Queen (153 x 203cm)
King (183 x 203cm)
Super King (203 x 203cm)

We recommend a mattress height of 28cm for the most balanced look. While taller mattresses will still work, anything above 30cm may obscure more of the headboard than intended.

We don't recommend any mattresses that are above 32cm such as Euro Tops.

We use a standard mattress height of 28cm in all of our product photos.
