What size mattresses work with the Connect Bed?

The Connect Bed has been designed to work with Australian standard mattress sizes, and is currently available in: Double (138 x 190c) Queen (153 x 203cm) King (183 x 203cm) We recommend a mattress height between 22-28cm for the most balanced look. While taller mattresses will still work, anything above 30cm may obscure more of the headboard than intended. We don't recommend any mattresses that are above 32cm such as Euro Tops.

Can I store things under the bed?

Yes of course! There is a 21cm clearance between the floor and the bed. It provides great storage for boxes/luggages and keeps things out of sight.

What colour options does the bed come in?

Available in two timeless finishes - Natural and Walnut. Because we use 100% real wood, no two beds are the same. You can expect unique grains and slight colour variation. These subtle imperfections are indicative of authentic wood, and should be embraced. Depending on the lighting, the colour may appear warmer under artificial light, cooler in natural daylight, and richer in dimmer settings.

Is the bed easy to disassemble if I need to move?

Yes, the bed can be disassembled the same way in less than 5 minutes. It breaks down into headboard, footboard, side boards and slats for easy moving and to fit through elevators, doorways, stairwells.

What does upcycled wood mean?

Every Connect Series piece is crafted from 100% upcycled rubberwood, giving new purpose to a naturally renewable material. After approximately 30 years of latex production, rubber trees reach the end of their productive life. Rather than being discarded, the timber is thoughtfully repurposed into furniture designed to last for years to come.

Where is the Connect Bed made?

Our primary manufacturing partner of The Connect Bed are based in Vietnam. Materials are sourced responsibly and locally, minimising our environmental impact.

Whats the best way to recycle packaging?

Disposing of packaging responsibly not only benefits the environment but also allows the materials to be repurposed into new products. In line with our commitment to sustainability, we have phased out styrofoam packaging in favor of recycled honeycomb cardboard. When recycling paper and cardboard, including honeycomb cardboard, simply flatten or tear them into smaller pieces to conserve space in your recycling bin. There's no need to remove tape or labels; these will be handled during the recycling process.

What types of mattresses can I use with this bed?

Our bed slat system is designed to work with all mattresses, including foam, bed-in-a-box, spring, hybrids and traditional mattresses.

We use a standard mattress height of 28cm in all of our product photos. All mattress heights will work, however, please note, larger mattresses will cover up more of the headboard.

We don't recommend any mattresses that are above 34cm.
