What size mattresses work with this bed?

The Platform Bed + Cushioned Headboard has been designed to work with Australian standard mattress sizes, and is currently available in: Queen (153 x 203cm) King (183 x 203cm) We recommend a mattress height between 25-30cm for the most balanced look.We use a 28cm mattress for our website imagery. While taller mattresses will still work, anything above 30cm may obscure more of the headboard than intended. We don't recommend any mattresses that are above 32cm such as Euro Tops.

Can I store items under the bed?

There is a 23.6cm clearance between the floor and the bed for easy underbed storage. We offer Underbed Storage Drawers for organisation.

What colour options does the bed come in?

Available in two timeless finishes - Natural and Walnut. Because we use 100% real wood, no two beds are the same. You can expect unique grains and slight colour variation. These subtle imperfections are indicative of authentic wood, and should be embraced. Depending on the lighting, the colour may appear warmer under artificial light, cooler in natural daylight, and richer in dimmer settings.

What are the dimensions of the bed?

You can find detailed dimensions of each size in our "Dimensions" tab at the top of the page.

Whats the best way to recycle packaging?

Disposing of packaging responsibly not only benefits the environment but also allows the materials to be repurposed into new products. In line with our commitment to sustainability, we have phased out styrofoam packaging in favor of recycled honeycomb cardboard. When recycling paper and cardboard, including honeycomb cardboard, simply flatten or tear them into smaller pieces to conserve space in your recycling bin. There's no need to remove tape or labels; these will be handled during the recycling process.

Exceeded my expectations! The bed

"Exceeded my expectations! The bed is beautifully crafted, and the additional storage option is such a fantastic feature. Delivery was incredibly quick, assembly was straightforward, and the quality is outstanding. I’m so happy with my purchase and have already recommended Ineshi to my family and friends."

— Sara M. (5/5)

I absolutely love my Ineshi

"I absolutely love my Ineshi Platform Bed. Its simple, minimalist design is what attracted me, but it also works as a real statement piece in the room. The quality is outstanding, and the craftsmanship is evident throughout. I was equally impressed with the delivery experience. Everything arrived perfectly and the process was seamless. A beautiful piece that has completely elevated my bedroom."

— Boden G. (5/5)

Disappointing headboard

"The bed frame itself is excellent. it’s solid, well-built, and completely squeak-free. Unfortunately, the headboard design is a MAJOR letdown. The configuration creates a large ledge behind the mattress, and unless I wedge extra pillows into the gap, my pillows constantly slide behind the headboard. My mattress is within Ineshi’s recommended thickness range, so this isn’t caused by using the wrong mattress. I contacted Ineshi for advice, and the only solution they offered was to put books on the rear ledge to stop the pillows from falling through?? I was genuinely surprised that there wasn’t a proper solution or accessory for what seems like a clear design oversight. Felt completely ignored which is frustrating considering the price tag. It’s a beautiful, sturdy bed that feels premium and doesn’t squeak at all, but the headboard design has become a daily annoyance. If Ineshi redesigned this area or offered an insert to fill the gap, the bed would be close to perfect."

— Enrique (3/5)

Beautiful bed, very solid, love

"Beautiful bed, very solid, love the design. Very quick and easy to assemble and packaging was low on plastic (yay!). I would recommend keeping fingers clear of the very solid and snug joins when assembling."

— Annett H. (5/5)

Great quality product Packaged well

"Great quality product Packaged well and set up with ease, actually unpacking it took longer than the assembly. I like packging materials no styrofoam, not much plastic which able to recycle. Last platform bed i used for 20+ years. Hopefully this one will last as long."

Solid good quality joinery

"This bed was easy to unpack and assemble. It fit together nicely. It is a nice style and the colour is appealing. It looses one star because I feel the back board could use an extra support in the centre if you wish to lean against it. Was delivered quickly."

— Crystal W. (4/5)

"It’s easy to assemble and disassemble (perfect for renting and on the move). It’s aesthetic and functional. I absolutely adore it!"
